Mark Levin is mean and loud, unforgiving and right on. He speaks truth and cannot be debated. But Levin must balance truth with his advertisers. He earns a good living and obeys politically correct mandates. He’d never call Barack Obama an entitled affirmative-action president.
Last week Levin attacked Barack Obama’s light presidential schedule. The President of the United States has a lot of time on his hands. He takes his national security briefing at 10:45 AM. I kid you not. George W. Bush rose at four or five, jogged, and was at the office by 6:00 AM. Obama ignores the world until lunch.

At 2:45, Obama hosted minorities and liberal women to promote the “Affordable Care Act.” He praised Obamacare’s annual checkups and his liberal seals clapped. Democrats demand superior American healthcare for free.
In reality, annual checkups gauge a citizen’s health. This information is recorded and passed to death panels. Obamacare may offer mammograms, but don’t count on treatment. Take a pain pill, as Obama once said. Such deadly measures are Obamacare’s ultimate goal.
Obamacare made Americans state property; Uncle Sam is now our Great White Father. Expect to be in and out of the free clinic by early evening. One day the sick will stay forever. Cancer patients, the obese and even injured athletes are gross liabilities. The government controls our healthcare. So get ready.

Obama’s ladies’ mixer ended the President’s day. Perhaps he watched ESPN afterwards or left his underwear in the kitchen. Whatever his activity, Obama’s indolence enraged Mark Levin. The world is Obama’s office. Every decision he makes has global repercussions. Lounging until noon and giving political speeches is characteristic of a president-for-life.
Obama’s transformation agenda is well-known to his subordinates. His team of revolutionaries fight for the same cause. Levin acts as if he doesn’t know who these people are. Yet Bolsheviks surround his underground bunker in Washington. Mark Levin knows them better than most.
University liberals worship at the black altar. Liberal guilt eventually granted Obama the White House. Why expect him to work now? Obama was a poor student…he knew the universities would pass him regardless. A slacker mentality guides him today. Levin understands this and should say so.
With mounting student debt and unemployable graduates, America’s universities will face a backlash. Until that day, America must suffer their Marxist agenda and dire consequences. To the nation’s detriment, Obama has accomplished a great deal. He put two socialists on the Supreme Court, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. He’s dismantling the military, withdrawing from the Middle East and scuttled America’s space program.
He’s crushed our economy with debt and uncertainty, a strategy he learned at university. He shoved Obamacare down the nation’s throat. Obama opened the door for state control of the individual. He’s the greatest president in leftist history. That’s quite a résumé for a lazy man.
Never doubt that Obama is busy. Busy lying about Benghazi and targeting conservative groups with the IRS. He’s busy spying on the AP. Only God knows why. The AP put Obama in office with their propaganda reporting.

Obama has proven himself quite the American tyrant. If Congress didn’t check presidential power, we’d be in real danger. Years ago, Obama studied Saul Alinsky when he went to class. He learned checks and balances is for suckers. But no matter his true ambition, the Constitution keeps Obama in line.
This is why the IRS targets groups that revere the Constitution. It’s why students aren’t taught the Bill of Rights in school. Georgetown professor Louis Michael Seidman (a self-loathing Jew) seeks to throw the Constitution out entirely. Obama attended elite schools and like Seidman, believes himself superior to the Founders.
But they aren’t. University types are spoiled American traitors handed an easy life. Like Obama, professors live in Marxist theory. The Founders lived in reality. They understood tyranny and man’s lust for freedom. The natural order trumps political ambition. Marxism is anti-human and unworkable. Millions of Russians and Chinese died proving the folly of collective thought.
The Constitution encapsulates human rights–freedom of speech and religion are timeless. Even in Soviet times, religion survived and free speech flourished behind closed doors. For America, the Constitution’s removal means societal collapse. Professor Seidman’s dense world would crash and burn. Unlike the Founders, Obama and Seidman are mere footnotes of history. They’re agitators and bloody minded. Mark Levin should say this more often. People listen when he speaks.
Growing up, my family kept the road hot between New Mexico and Texas. We have many relatives in both states. I was born in Albuquerque and my brother remains. To escape mestizo schools, he pays for private school to educate his children. I left New Mexico for Texas in the 1990s. Way back then, English billboards lined Albuquerque’s freeways. Today many are in Spanish.
New Mexico is the only state with a bilingual constitution. General Kearney captured Santa Fe in 1846 and inherited a Mexican province. Only the priests and patrons thrived. Together they kept the peasants illiterate. This arrangement is common in the Spanish world.
Soon the railroad brought white settlers. Uncle Sam usurped Latin oppression and the American Dream took hold. Cattle moved in. Cowboys and Indians fought to the death. Remote villages turned into cities. New Mexico’s ancient history blossomed overnight.

New Mexico’s laboratories produced the atom bomb and modern rocketry. Military technology booms in the Land of Enchantment. The state is rich in natural resources; oil and gas made men rich. It’s great but unless you’re white or elite Hispanic, New Mexico is home to poor New Mexicans.
I grew up with New Mexicans. We lived in the same barrios and attended the same barrio schools. My brother and I were two blonds in a sea of raven-haired vatos. Their answer to everything “oh, si.”
Although my Roswell middle school was majority Hispanic, I attended the wealthier high school. Here I met the other whites. Many lived in nice homes and drove new cars. I wasn’t one of them nor was I Mexican. I was the fag and they reminded me every day.
I’ve never been innocent and cannot hold a grudge. I understand white devils. White devils are no different from brown devils. Both hate the gays. But white devils graduate high school and college. They buy luxury homes and fine art.

Brown devils drop out in the tenth grade. They pop out babies and live forever with their parents, siblings, grandparents and cousins. New Mexico’s statehood saves it from true Mexican poverty. Beautiful American neighborhoods prosper in every county. Grocery stores are stocked and people stop at red lights. But when I go home, I know it’s forsaken Spanish territory. It’s not the same as free and independent Texas.
The Federal government subsidizes New Mexico more than any other state. Los Alamos National Laboratory and other agencies employ armies of government workers. They oversee a bureaucratic occupation of New Mexican affairs.
Liberal elites control New Mexico’s brain trust. All vote Democrat. Many are carpetbaggers from outside universities. New Mexico has the highest per capita Ph.D rate in the country. Eggheads vote to keep New Mexico poor, segregated and a national black sheep.
My aunt is involved in state politics. She married well and works to fundamentally transform New Mexico. She backed state Treasurer James B. Lewis’ successful campaign. Lewis is black but I don’t know where she found him. Blacks are rare in New Mexico. They built their own barrios. My mom knew where they lived and brought one home.
Mom’s black lover and my homosexuality frazzled my aunt. She evicted us and that was that. Fortunately this isn’t my only political memory. As a child, my step-grandmother Virgie Cole served as Eddy County Clerk. I’d visit her at the big stucco courthouse and learned the importance of record keeping. At election time we’d see her campaign signs. She’s of course gone and only the wicked remain.

It’s easy to love New Mexico. The deserts turn white-hot during the day and gold at sunset. New Mexico’s vast forests produced Smokey the Bear. Its resorts offer world-class skiing. The Sandia Mountains lording over Albuquerque is an earthly miracle.
New Mexico dates back centuries. Founded in 1610, Santa Fe is America’s oldest seat of government. As a tourist, Santa Fe is a real treat. The round Capitol building, Palace of the Governors and Loretto Chapel are must-sees. Unless you’re rich, bring a camper or find the Motel 6. Californians made Santa Fe outrageously expensive. The average home price is $370,000. Democrats forced the natives out.
Governor Bill Richardson is New Mexico’s most recognizable face. Born in California to an affluent mixed-race family, Richardson enjoys New Mexico’s hacienda living. New Mexicans elected him twice. No one got any richer. Gary Johnson preceded Richardson. He’s most famous for wanting to legalize marijuana.

Most associate New Mexico as a blue state. I remember bright red when it voted Reagan in two elections. Carpetbaggers changed all that. Democrats choked state politics until it turned blue. Republican Susana Martinez is now governor. I knew women like Governor Martinez…judges, welfare officials and teachers. You never talk back. Simply say “yes, ma’am” and do as your told.
But being New Mexico, Martinez accepted Obamacare and will setup a state exchange. Whatever that is. It sounds like welfare. Something else to keep New Mexico poor. Small business owners like my brother, who once could pick and chose projects, now fight to stay afloat. Housing died. People are going bankrupt.

My mother’s family left Kentucky for New Mexico in the 1950s. Albuquerque was still a dusty outpost. They migrated from one poor state to another. Mamaw worked as a waitress, my grandfather a professional gambler. Later he drove trucks.
As a teenager, my family visited Kentucky and drove deep into the hills. We stopped at a general store built next to a working outhouse. The clerk asked where we were from. New Mexico, we said proudly. “I heard they eat dog out there,” he said.
Today Kentucky’s commander-in-chief is a known dog eater. Fate is indeed cruel. But I understand his point. Many New Mexicans enjoy goat’s head and cow tongue. Far too many use food stamps to buy chips and soda. The same is true of Kentucky.
Liberal poverty plagues New Mexico as it does the nation. Thankfully this is American poverty. Like Kentucky and Texas, New Mexico is a state admitted in 1912 by President Taft. After 400 years of history, statehood proved New Mexico’s most valuable treasure.
Driving home last week, I caught ABC radio’s hourly newscast. Boston terror topped the headlines. Ann Compton, in her haughty Washington speak, updated the situation: “After four years and three months,” she said, “today President Obama faces his first terrorist attack.”
Honest men know this isn’t true. Jihad inspired the Fort Hood shootings. In the Middle East, our Cairo embassy and Libyan consulate fell to Islam. Diplomatic installations are American soil. Boston was not Obama’s “first time.”
Miss Compton, aware Obama is weak on terror, struggled to give cover. President Bush kept us safe. Obama hasn’t. His apology tour and “pivot” from the Middle East invited terror to Boston.
Compton has acted the fool before. She’s infamous for a race-loaded question to Obama. Is whitey nice to you, she asked? But Ann ignores her own segregated life. She voted for a black man on TV and that’s that.

But Boston proved that terrorists, those from the Most Disgusting Generation given everything, will bomb American liberals. As journalists race to excuse evil, Jihad lurks around every Northeast corner.

On Fox News Sunday, California Senator Dianne Feinstein and New York Congressman Peter King debated the handling of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Bomber. Dianne is clearly pro-terrorist, anti-intelligence and a senator worthy of bankrupt California. No, she said, Tsarnaev must be read his Miranda Rights…he’s an American. She said this on national television in front of God and everybody.
Feinstein hides that Tsarnaev is a foreign devil. Democrats allowed him inside the country to vote Democrat. He’s no more American than Allah. Only Peter King stood between Feinstein and total surrender.
Congressman King demanded Tsarnaev be treated as an enemy combatant. That if we read him his rights, he could remain silent. We’d learn nothing. Plus it shows we’re weak….that we handle terrorists with kid gloves. Tsarnaev made America the battlefield. He’s a Muslim solider. Yet Dianne wants him tried in night court.
Soon the interview ended. Chris Wallace thanked his guests. Everyone said their Washington goodbyes. Out of nowhere, Peter King says “Thanks, Dianne.” Feinstein ignored him. She knows he’s a poser. A man of strong but empty words. He’d never come unglued and call her insane.

What’s happening now in Boston is terrifying. Authorities are frantically searching for 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Marathon Bombing suspect. Overnight he and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan ambushed and killed an MIT police officer. Soon Tamerlan was killed, perhaps the victim of his own bomb. Dzhokhar somehow escaped. Now Boston and Cambridge are on lockdown. Buses and trains aren’t running. Liberals are held up in their homes, terrorized by the religion of peace.
I learned early that Massachusetts is an American marvel. It made Virginia look third world. My elementary school teachers went on and on about “Massachusetts.” Pilgrims tamed the wilderness. The Boston Tea Party changed destiny. Boston was a shining city on Beacon Hill. This great state financed and educated the colonies.
In today’s Massachusetts, you can’t say “Pilgrim.” It’s offensive. Yet Boston liberals embrace radical Islam. All cultures are tolerated and American patriotism mocked. Liberals openly begged for the bombers to be white hicks. Cambridge, America’s most exclusive white enclave, rooted for the enemy.
The bombers were indeed white. White Russians from war-torn Chechnya. These two white boys have terrorized America’s liberal capital. Blood and torn bodies littered the streets. A policeman is dead. Great Boston bleeds into the sewer.

Showtime’s 2005 Sleeper Cell dramatized the inner-workings of a terrorist group. Muslims, imported by Democrats, plotted terror and death to infidels. Republicans said fine, they can come in, just don’t call us racist.
In one episode, the cell discussed various targets. One suggested the universities. Their leader said no, too many allies. American universities are friends to Islamic terror. As Ivy League alum George W. Bush said, Islam is the religion of peace. Americans must embrace those who would see us all dead.
Although Bush force-fed us Islam, he kept Americans safe. Massachusetts liberals did everything they could to destroy him. When Obama came along, a man closer to Islam than any Bible, Massachusetts demanded we accept him. Being an all-white state, voting skin color was their only path to diversity. They refuse to welcome anyone but white liberals. And white Muslims.
The Tsarnaev brothers spent their time watching porn and Family Guy. They failed to realize that while in Boston, they were among friends. But even though they weren’t Saudi or Yemeni, the brothers are very foreign. Their names are impossible to pronounce. Both worshiped a religion anathema to everything America stands for.

When appointed Minister to France in 1785, Thomas Jefferson boarded a wooden ship and sailed across the Atlantic. Even great Jefferson suffered crashing waves, salted food and the chance he might not make it. The Atlantic swallowed men whole. Ships were lost forever. To pass the time, Jefferson learned Spanish.
He already knew French and Latin. And both Greek and Italian. After the 19 day journey ended, he spoke Spanish. Adams said it wasn’t true, that Jefferson told “large stories.” But even if it isn’t true, no one doubts Jefferson could navigate a bilingual America.
Thomas Jefferson is most famous as principal author of the Declaration of Independence. His efforts solidified our separation from England. There was no turning back. Jefferson and the Founders were now traitors, worthy of the gallows. None were deterred. They meant what they said. The Revolution raged eight long years until finally we were free of Europe’s yolk.
Jefferson served in France during the Constitutional Convention. The Convention moved forward without him or John Adams. Adams represented the US in Great Britain. Jefferson called the delegates “demigods.” He knew the future was in good hands. Washington, Franklin and Madison had it under control.
Like many men of history, Jefferson inherited wealth and prestige. His father Peter willed him slaves and 5,000 acres in Virginia. This later became Monticello. He studied non-stop and attended the College of William and Mary. Jefferson devoured knowledge and quickly rose as one of our premier thinkers.

Jefferson dutifully served President Washington as the nation’s first Secretary of State. His greatest rival, Alexander Hamilton, served as Treasury secretary. The two men truly hated one other. Jefferson championed state’s rights over Hamilton’s centralized Federalism. Hamilton believed in consolidated power, namely a national bank to fund the new nation. He also supported a monarch.
President Washington mostly agreed with Hamilton’s federalism, but thankfully rejected ruling as king. After organizing disparate colonials as general and later at the Convention, Washington understood centralized authority. He believed the Constitution settled all matters; it vanquished the need for political parties. Yet Hamilton and Jefferson’s zealotry led to a schism that never healed.
Political parties are human. Even George Washington was helpless against the natural order. Men seek out those he agrees with and coalesce. Jefferson knew this and Washington held him back. After a tense tenure as Secretary of State, Jefferson resigned in 1793.
Jefferson loathed Washington’s favorable view of Britain. His hatred for Hamilton boiled. Hope and change was coming. Jefferson formed the opposition party; his Democratic-Republicans are today’s Democrats. The impressionable James Madison, once a Federalist, followed Jefferson and together they worked to fundamentally transform the nation. Jefferson believed in party above all else. Martha Washington never forgave his betrayal of her husband.
Washington’s second term ended in 1797. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson fought their first battle for President. Adams labeled the Democratic-Republicans French radicals. Jefferson called Adams a monarchist and tyrant. Adams won a narrow victory and Jefferson became Vice President. He challenged Adams again in 1800. After what’s been described as the most vicious campaign in history, the two men declared open war. Jefferson’s people called Adams a hermaphrodite. Adams’ campaign described Jefferson as “the son of a half-breed Indian squaw, sired by a Virginia mulatto father.”

Jefferson saw victory and called it the Revolution of 1800. America’s first social revolution took hold. Adams’ Federalist party was in shambles; one party rule seemed inevitable. One party of enlightened left-wingers to undo Washington’s reason and good work.

It was an absurd move but Jefferson, the first Democrat, did it anyway.
Jefferson’s mistrust of a standing army left us unprepared once war came in 1812. His protegé and successor James Madison suffered the burning of Washington. We were broke. Jefferson’s idealism almost cost us the nation.
President Jefferson spent his early days railing against strong leadership. He feared the rise of a king. He broke with Washington and pursued his liberal ideals from Monticello, a slave plantation. His fear of centralized power allowed states rights to grow under the 10th Amendment. But as President, he realized the necessity of executive power and the need to use force.

Jefferson oversaw America’s first war on terrorism. For years, Islam’s Barbary pirates terrorized the Mediterranean. They seized European ships and massacred sailors. Jefferson initially struggled with the acquisition. The Constitution said nothing about territorial purchases. It did allow presidents to negotiate treaties. Using this out, Jefferson sealed the deal. America doubled in size. He dispatched Lewis & Clark to explore our good fortune. They reached rich Oregon and America placed its stamp on the West coast. Jefferson’s executive power kicked off Manifest Destiny.
He established the presidency as an office of authority and action. He abandoned his core liberal beliefs and realized that a leader must lead. In his youth, Jefferson believed states’ rights trumped almost all. A balance must exist. It cannot be one way or the other. Washington realized this early but only painful experience taught Jefferson.

Modern Democrats wield the race card to destroy their enemies. Everyone is racist but them. Although liberal elites live segregated lives far from minorities, the rest of us are racists. This attitude hails from Jefferson. He wrote “All me are created equal” fully aware it wasn’t true. He held hundreds of slaves at Monticello. Jefferson built the left’s first plantation. He is the first phony democrat.

Thomas Jefferson is today ridiculed by his liberal offspring. Liberals are Democrats, Jefferson their creator. Liberals worship blacks from afar and view Jefferson’s slaves as the superior race. They’ve formed a cult. Liberals worship idols of black wood. Affluent whites, namely professors, accuse the world of bigotry. They do so from Maude Findlay’s living room.
University of Chicago alum Paul Finkelman is one of them. He loves the blacks. He’s an exclusionist Jew down with the cause. Finkelman resides in Slingerlands, New York, a 100% white settlement. Every address voted for a black president on TV. Residents who never meet blacks embraced Obama. Obama almost speaks like a white man and he’s light-skinned. That’s good enough for any liberal.
In 2012, Finkelman attacked Jefferson in The New York Times. Finkelman, a segregationist, called Jefferson a monster and outlined his crimes against liberal guilt. To punish unruly slaves, Jefferson broke up families by selling them off. Jefferson called the Louisiana Purchase an “empire of democracy” but never challenged slavery’s expansion into the frontier.
This enrages the apartheid master Finkelman. Universities employ blacks to mop the floors but it doesn’t matter to him. Jefferson is racist. In reality, Jefferson crafted liberal deceitfulness long ago. Democrats owe their dishonest lives to Jefferson, their Great White Father and dear leader.
If Jefferson lived today, men like Finkelman would lick his boots. They’d worship him as the true messiah. “Yes, beloved Lord and master,” they’d say. Jefferson’s abilities tower over the average man, both contemporary and colonial. He’d recognize Finkelman as a hack. A man who saw race as his ticket to fame. It’s easy money but future historians will mock the university set.

Finkelman must consider Jefferson’s opinion of an unqualified candidate elevated to the Presidency. A man like Obama given everything by white liberals. This alone deserves a Harvard course number.
Leftists who seized the black issue backed the wrong horse. Thanks to their social policy, the black community is in total collapse. Blacks use abortion as birth control. Blacks drop out of school. In his last years, Jefferson developed a sort of religious madness. His Jefferson Bible is the work of a crazy man. He created his own Christianity by redacting the miracles of Jesus – he wished to remove the “diamonds” from the “dung hill.” He cut from one area and pasted in another. He claimed it was for the Indians, as to not confuse them with Hocus Pocus.
Imagine Jefferson, an old red-haired man, hunched over his desk late at night. The candle casting his tall shadow against the wall as he rewrote 2,000 years of faith. This screams liberal madness. It’s also very French. French revolutionaries rewrote the calendar during the Reign of Terror. Had Jefferson gotten his way, he’d eradicate religion entirely as would leftists today. Citizens serve the state, not an invisible God.
James Madison joined Jefferson in senior madness. Madison vacillated his entire life. As an old man, he rewrote his own papers, crossing out sentences and cutting entire passages. He even forged Jefferson’s handwriting. America’s first two Democrats set the bar for liberal duplicity.

Unlike modern liberals, Jefferson loved his country. He was there from the beginning. He experienced the hard work that went into America’s construction. But being Democrat meant he couldn’t live up to its ideals. All men were not created equal at Monticello. Most were slaves. Jefferson lost his wife Martha early and lost four of his six children. In the end, he was the great white lord overseeing his vast holdings. A man alone among an army of Africans.
I’ve heard Jefferson described as a hater. That he hated everything. He hated the British and Alexander Hamilton. He may be the nation’s first liberal misogynist. It’s said he despised women of the French court. He saw them as scheming and manipulative. He didn’t like women at the White House. Not even at parties. He preferred the conversation of men. Jefferson’s antics established today’s liberal supremacy.
Obama shares this unbridled hatred with Jefferson. Obama hates his political enemies as do all Democrats. Obama hates the Tea Party. He hates working whites. He simply hates. But comparing Obama to other presidents is foolhardy. Obama’s heart is foreign. He’s spent his life plotting social justice to take Americans down a notch. We were always told that America could fight a two-front war. That if war erupted in both Europe and Asia, we were ready. World War II established this model. Warmongering nations comprise Europe and Asia. Together Russia and China form one of the world’s greatest evils. If they made a move, America’s armed forces would stop them.
Democrats always cried we were too powerful. That our strength caused global angst and instability. Of course the opposite is true. We provide Roman stability. But traitors will be traitors. Democrats targeted the military for years. They finally produced Barack Obama, a man of foreign heart fueled by colonial hate. A President who relished in military cuts.
Obama moved quickly to neuter American power. He began by gutting missile defense in Poland. Next he targeted NASA, an institution vital to American military innovation. Soon we heard stories about veterans not getting their benefits. Now the Truman sits anchored in Norfolk and the Blue Angels grounded. Over the next decade, the military will face hundreds of billions in cuts.
Obama promised he’d “pivot” to the Pacific. We’d forsake the Muslim world to Islam, his preferred religion, and focus on rising China. Only liberals and establishment Republicans believed him. Obama focuses solely on class warfare and his lousy golf game. And cutting the military. Suddenly North Korea exploded and proved Obama’s pivot a sham.
We weren’t ready. We hustled missile defense to Alaska and Guam. Remember Democrats said missile defense could never work. And only one carrier, the Washington, is forward deployed in the Pacific. Recall the Truman sits in port. We could certainly use it now. Democrats work to keep us weak. Everyone knows it’s true.

Obama’s advisors trusted their communist professors and grandfathers. That US might stands in the way of revolution. When Bill Ayers plotted his 1970s revolution, an undercover informant asked what would happen afterwards. How would the Weather Underground rule the people? They hesitated. He also ignored who would replace Assad. The Arab Spring has proven modern cowboys and Indians. The rebels are always the good guys and the secular dictators are always the bad guys. Americans root for good guys without giving it much thought. They never question who these rebels are.

It seems these freedom fighters manufacture homemade chemical weapons. A rocket attack near a government check point in Aleppo later proved a chlorine gas bomb – 26 were killed. Although the West suspected Assad, Syrian rebels pulled the trigger. The media yawned. They support the Islamic rebels. But our politicians and conservative commentators should know better.
Criticism aimed at Obama that he should “do something” comes from John McCain and even Sean Hannity. What do they want him to do? Help wreck yet another Muslim country? Create yet another anti-American enemy led by the Muslim Brotherhood? Breed more terrorists? Syria was never our friend but the alternatives are much worse.
Obama destroys everything he touches. He wants to retreat from the Middle East and leave it to the imams. Americans are tired of US involvement all over the world not paying off. We get nothing but dead Americans and unfriendly regimes ruled by hostile Islamic forces. Today Allah runs Cairo and Tripoli. Critics must rethink using foreign policy to demonstrate this President’s shortcomings. It’s not working. Sean Hannity only understands cowboys and Indians. Or he’s throwing red meat at Obama haters. Reagan’s attack on Gaddafi’s Libya was a lifetime ago. As far as our success in the Middle East goes, we don’t have a good track record. Even under Reagan our attempts to assist Lebanon were met with hundreds of dead Marines. Our assistance to Afghan rebels fighting Soviets gave us the Taliban. Now China is sucking up Iraqi oil. We measure ourselves by different degrees of failure.
While liberalism has been guilty for many of our losses, namely Vietnam and now the whole Middle East, another argument can be made that we, modern day Westerners, aren’t cut out for conflict in this blood thirsty region of the world. Our culture doesn’t allow it. We are different from the desert peoples.

Not because we’re wimps, but because we’re not raised as unfeeling monsters. It would require our leaders to develop a serial killer’s psyche. It will not and cannot happen. Regardless of our secular society, at the core we’re good Christians. We’re overwhelmed by empathy. The average American doesn’t have it in him to burn down a village and kill everyone in it. We don’t have it in us to bury a woman up to her shoulders and throw stones, not to kill her instantly, but gradually. Even in centuries past, hangings and guillotines were meant to be quick; break a neck or sever the head. This isn’t true in the Muslim world.
Bashar Al-Assad is not cut out for what he’s facing. He studied ophthalmology in London. Westernization strengthens the intellect but weakens Middle Eastern survival skills. Bashar was quiet and reserved and lacks interest in politics or the military. He wasn’t meant to succeed his father. Rather it was his brother Bassel, who died in a car accident in 1994.
Alawites, the Shiite off-shoot of Islam to which his family and 12% of Syrians belong, isn’t violent. They are historically known for having turned Mosques imposed upon them by Muslim rulers into stables. They celebrate Christmas and Easter and all of them have a picture of the Virgin Mary in their homes. Assad is fluent in English and conversational French – these aren’t characteristics of 21st century warlords. With all this being said, what makes the US believe it can do a better job in Syria than Assad?

Syria isn’t 100% Islamic. Despite a Sunni majority of 74%, the remaining Alawites, Druze, Christians and even Jews survived inside Syria’s secular regime. In the Middle East, this isn’t accomplished by singing Kumbaya. Order requires brute force and fear of government authority. Assad fights rebels whose early battle cry was “Christians to Beirut, Alawites to the coffin.” The American media favors these murderers.
If you were Christian or Alawite, knowing how minority groups fair in Egypt or Libya, who would you support? Would you assume the Americans have your back? That they will stay the course, or rather open negotiations with the Taliban? Perhaps. If you are wearing rose-colored glasses or are deaf, dumb and blind. Americans go in with the best intentions, to build schools and roads, but never finish the job. The radicals swoop in to devour everything.
American politicians and the UN are calling for Syrian intervention as the humane thing to do. They’re egged on by a press that covers for Islam. Something must be done, they say. But once the offensive begins, so does the liberal criticism of American force. True resolve means knowing that you are in the right. That the home front has your back. And especially that our culture is superior to the one being replaced.
Nothing in our actions, especially Obama’s embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood, indicates that Americans believe they’re right. We should not be tempered by tribal chieftains but we are. With the world against Assad, it seems likely Syria will fall to Bush’s Religion of Peace. The slaughter of Alawites and Christians will follow. John McCain and Sean Hannity will cheer, forsaking Syrian women to stoning and female circumcision.

I’ve had raging forum wars with both liberals and conservatives. I shoot down liberals like skeet. I dismantle their entire premise and leave them speechless. It ends with threats as happens with Bolsheviks. Rarely if ever do I see other conservatives take them on. Those who do post are attacked and soon run off. They’re cowards.
On conservative forums, where I champion God and country, right-wingers pile on me for being gay. As I do with liberals, I remind them that their daughters are whores and Obamacare awaits. I’ve been hard on left-wing radical Roger Ebert. Ebert died last week of thyroid cancer. His wife, a black woman, is now a widow. Ebert spent his adult life in segregated Chicago. Blacks were kept locked in ghettos. Ebert attended the University of Chicago. People like Bill Ayers were familiar faces. Obama was the golden boy. All were radical Alinskyites and anti-Americans.
After I watch an old movie, I read Ebert’s review. He’s usually spot-on but sometimes goes off the rails. His praise of The Phantom Menace and Conan the Destroyer are glaring examples. And when he could, Ebert inserted vitriolic race commentary. He called Predator 2 racist. Schwarzenegger’s Conan the Barbarian was keeping the black man down. As Ebert practiced apartheid, picking and choosing his black friends, he stirred up trouble in the real world. He married a black woman and that was that.
