Ailurophobe Dr. Nico Dauphine sports obligatory liberal hair:

It’s hard to imagine true psychopaths in positions of power. Men like Stalin are a given, but psychosis reaches every level of society. People normally mean no harm…we give others the benefit of the doubt. This is true for most of humanity…otherwise we couldn’t function as social creatures. People go about their business and leave others alone.

This isn’t true in elite liberal circles. They’re not good people. They plot to do harm, to restrict our freedoms and deny us goods and services. Obama dreams of confiscatory taxation. Without money, products are useless. Obama hails from Ivy League despotism, as do most in Washington’s power monopoly. The Smithsonian’s National Zoo is no different.

Being the age of unqualified minorities, woefully inept applicants are awarded vital positions. National Zoo ornithologist Dr. Nico Dauphine is one of them. She graduated Yale and Cornell. She’s a liberal white woman with a single cause: birds. Dauphine sees cats as the enemy and seeks to eradicate them. Being a liberal zealot, the National Zoo hired her and bragged about it.

The National Zoo itself is an American treasure. Maintained by the Smithsonian, admission is free. But in recent years, numerous animals have escaped or died from neglect. In 2003, two red pandas died after consuming rat poison. That same year a fox escaped and killed a bald eagle. In 2005, a hydraulic door crushed a macaque monkey. In 2006, a leopard escaped and forced an evacuation. The leopard was found sleeping outside its exhibit.

Director Lucy Spelman oversaw these disasters and resigned in 2009. Her lead veterinarian, Dr. Suzan Murray, was accused of altering records. To no one’s surprise, Spelman is a visiting professor at Brown and other Leftist institutions, including UC Davis. Imagine being her student and knowing what a failure she is?

Zoo officials hired Spelman because of her sex. Below she sports liberal hair and proves she isn’t racist.

Of course the National Zoo required a butch female director. And a female lead veterinarian to boot. Enter Nico Dauphine. The zoo also demanded a mad ornithologist. Dauphine worked as an agenda-driven zoologist, meaning a rabid devotion to an insane cause: extermination of house cats.

Like all liberal schemes, others must suffer to advance the common good. Dauphine is crazy about birds. Other creatures of the animal kingdom need not apply, namely cats. Cats are killers and expert hunters. Cats love birds. My rescue cat stares at them all day through the window. He’s tasted bird and will never forget. It’s the natural order.

In the name of birds, liberals declared war on cats. An economist recently called for their removal from New Zealand. Gareth Morgan seeks their “elimination.” Being an attack on the common man, Slate.com raced to support him. Slate’s Laura Helmuth criticized the house cat’s origins. She declared cats “late” to the domesticated table and serve only to eat mice. Now that rodents are under control, cats are no longer needed.

Who knew? Helmuth never asks that if cats are eradicated, would the rodent population explode? It doesn’t matter. She’s a liberal. She lies and distorts reality to suit her needs.

Mankind will never be separated from their pets. We’ll always welcome furry creatures into our homes and caves. Mad women like Nico Dauphine rage against nature. In 2011, cameras caught her poisoning feral cat food put out by a neighbor. As a liberal, she kills to advance her cause.

Moving On

As most people do, I support the entire animal kingdom. Not just my personal favorites. I wish the birds no harm. But birds are detached from man. They exist in God’s realm and remain untouchable. Cats are one of life’s simple pleasures. They’re furry, clever and bring joy. Birds belong to the trees and sky. Cats belong to us. Sort of.

To Dauphine, only birds matter. But I suspect a deeper element to her deviltry, even if sub-conscious. Pets bring joy to the unwashed masses. We love our animals and pamper them. They bring happiness to almost everyone, rich and poor. Yet simple pleasures enrage liberals. Only they may enjoy life, the rest of us must wallow in mud and darkness.

The liberal take down of society now includes a war on pets. New Zealand’s cat wars are the latest salvo. It’s true that cats devastate island species – they devour birds and lizards. I’ve never been to New Zealand but imagine birds everywhere. New Zealand is also home to Robert and Brenda Vale. They propose ending pet ownership to alleviate global warming. Sure. Like Dauphine, they’re stone-hearted liberals intent on fighting nature.

As for Dauphine, she went before the judge and lied through her teeth. Although caught on tape, “someone else” planted the poison. Her anti-cat writings, such as “Apocalypse Meow,” were presented as evidence. She disavowed her own writings and claimed that they were misinterpreted. Dauphine learned to lie at Yale and from her liberal parents. Lowly liberals learn to lie from Bill Maher and Al Gore.

The National Zoo stood by Dauphine. Convicted of animal cruelty, she received a suspended sentence, probation and community service. She’s a liberal princess. The rest of us would do time. After a disastrous tenure, Harvard’s Dennis W. Kelly succeeded Lucy Spelman. Sadly affirmative-action almost sank the National Zoo.

Liberals assault the average man on every front. Our cars, firearms, bovine flatulence and now our pets are in the crosshairs. Every day it’s something new, like Bloomberg’s war on soda and popcorn. Once the silent majority realizes that Obamacare made them state property, they might fight back. Or maybe not. So far they’ve proven worthless.

Cambridge graduates and authors of Time to Eat the Dog, the specious Robert Vale and Brenda vale enjoy high living. Everyone else must eat dog.
